libio-aio-perl software package provides asynchronous IO module for Perl, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libio-aio-perl
libio-aio-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libio-aio-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libio-aio-perl *
You will get with libio-aio-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
